Today is a super duper bad day...
Today is my first complain case thrg PRC after being here for 4mths?
The patient complained me cos she wasn't able to see the eye doctor... Here's how it go...
Patient is by the name of, Loy Wen Ling.
She called in today requesting to see eye doctor tomorrow, due to her eye swollen & itchy. As she had called in earlier & spoken to one of my colleague, Suba, she was given appt on 18 Aug 11+am.
She then request for me to change to before 11am on 18/8 or anytime on 17/8. Otherwise, she got class & cannot come.
All eye appt thrg us got to go thrg this "eye specialist", Suba or Sharina.
So I went to Suba cos Sharine is not in. She then came back to me & told me to tell patient no other timing.
I called back patient & told her no other timing. At the same time, advice her to go to A&E since it's urgent.
Then she still insist to get her the date she is avail, else she want to speak to the eye clinic staff.
I then went back to Suba. She called the patient & told her that there was no slot. Patient was angry & told her, "fine, bye".
After that the patient called to this QSM line & complain me.
Moral of story: This stupid patient got the time to complain me when she can go A&E. Her case is obviously not urgent. A&E stands for Accident & Emergency. If not emergency, please do not call & req for help.
Next issue come. I will see how this case is going to be handled by my manager or supervisior. If they think it's my attitude problem, fine, i got nothing to say. I was really angry cos patient obviously got the time to wait for us to callback after few hrs.
& Just before I going to leave, i got another case that patient complain about Doctor. OMG! I am super sway TTM!
